Sheridan Shore Sailing School is a small, not-for-profit organization that depends on families and companies to provide funds for capital improvements, such as new boats, sails and dock upgrades, as well as scholarships to needy students. Generous donations from families and businesses like yours allow us to continue operations, helping generations sail now and into the future.
As the school’s new director, one of my primary goals is to revamp this aged and deteriorating portion of our fleet within the next two years. In order to accomplish this in the most effective manner, my plan is to purchase slightly used 420’s that are in great shape but cost significantly less than brand new boats. At the same time, I am also establishing a separate fund for the Sailing School dedicated to the purchase of at least one new boat every year. It is important to keep the fleet in top condition in order to help future teams stay competitive and continue to enjoy the success they have in the past as one of the top high school sailing teams in the Midwest. Sheridan Shore Sailing School coaches 3 great High Schools: Evanston Township, Loyola Academy, and North Shore Country Day School.
Come and support the Sheridan Shore Sailing School Opti Race Team as well as the Evanston, Loyola and NSCD High School Teams.

She raced Optimists for 5 years in the US and Europe, on her way to winning the 420 championship in an 80 boat fleet. In January, Stephanie was named as one of six 2009 "Sailing World Magazine's" U.S. Young All-stars by Gary Jobson from a field of 400! Her father, Jeff was a board member of the US Opti Assoc.
